In the port area of Sant'Andrea – Santa Marta – San Basilio there are two short-term parking areas, reserved for occasional users and managed as follows:
- Park Banchina Ghiaia 3 hours – Port Space: access is reserved exclusively for guests of companies based in the port area or for those who need to go to the Port Authority. This parking lot is managed by APV Investimenti SpA on behalf of the Port System Authority.
To access it, the user must contact directly the company or entity to which he or she must go, not APV Investimenti SpA - Park Scomenzera 3 hours: this area is managed by the Port System Authority and entrusted directly to the Municipality of the Santa Marta District. It is reserved for residents only, with a maximum stop of 3 hours. APV Investimenti SpA does not manage this parking lot. For information, we recommend contacting the Santa Marta Neighborhood Council.
Finally, we recall that APV Investimenti SpA does not manage access to the Santa Marta port area nor does it regulate the use of loading/unloading sites in front of the Santa Marta pier.
Only vehicles with a maximum height of 2.30 meters, including any protruding loads, such as trunks fixed to the roof, can access Park 280. Vehicles with bicycles or other roof-mounted objects are therefore not permitted to enter.
Furthermore, the maximum permitted length is 5 meters and vehicles with appendix trolleys are not permitted.
Inside the parking lot, any type of bivouac, camping, or equipped parking is prohibited, even if temporary.
The rates currently in force are as follows:
COST FOR THE FIRST HOUR: 3 €
COST FROM THE SECOND TO THE TENTH HOUR: 2 €/ora
MAXIMUM COST STOP UNTIL MIDNIGHT: 22 €
Reservations cannot be made. Park 280 operates automatically: it has 139 seats and, once full, you must wait for a car to exit before you can enter. For this reason, the filling state is not accurately predictable.
On weekdays, generally around 9:00-9:30 the parking lot is already full and remains full until around 11:00. On holidays, the fill varies depending on the weather and tourist flows, which peak in summer or during exhibitions, holidays, and events.
To make the most of Park 280, we recommend arriving as early as possible in the morning.
For this need you can use the easily accessible Park 280. You can find the exact route by clicking this Google Maps link: [LINK]
