APV Investimenti has over 100 TB of disk space, allowing it to create thousands of Virtual Servers. All data center services offered benefit from 100% connectivity from the Nethun network, resulting in minimal response times.
Mirroring: The Mirroring service offered by APV Investimenti consists of placing a server “sister” alongside the customer’s server, responsible for continuously synchronizing the state, applications, and data present. In the event of a failure of the main server, it will be possible to failover that server, with times almost close to the real time.
Backup: APV Investimenti manages the business server backup operations. Thanks to the high amount of disk space present in the DataCenter of APV Investimenti, it is possible to maintain both backups of entire servers and of documents/applications only ensuring a very high historicity.

APV Investimenti SpA’s data network extends throughout the port of Venice and Marghera with over 90 km of optical fiber. Through it, data connectivity services are offered inside and outside the area itself. APV Investimenti has an internet connection with ADM Multiplex 32 Ports with 100 Mbps each and therefore is able to provide any connectivity cut, from common ADSL to very high bandwidth HDSL – XDSL connections.
Flexibility

The company manages a dedicated telephony and internet infrastructure consisting of 70 kilometers of multi-pair telephone cables, 5 telephone exchanges with 1,000 derivatives, 90 kilometers of single-mode fiber optics in Venice and Marghera, 59 peripheral switch layers, all interconnected at a speed of at least 1 GB, and 4 star nodes. The Service, accessible to public and private operators operating in the areas of the port of Venice – Marittima and Marghera – uses copper and fiber optic networks.
All telephone traffic in the port area is handled in digital mode (VoIP). The telephone service allows you to make and receive calls at ports, urban, national, international, and mobile networks, as well as access emergency services provided by national telecommunications operators, as well as automatic telephone exchange services. The point of delivery of the service consists of the telephone sets supplied or the socket to which any equipment owned by the user is connected. The service is provided 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. The global unavailability of the service and the recovery time for blocking faults are those expected by the largest national telephony providers.
